Step 8: Putting it all Together

Before Bed

I highly encourage you to mediate 1 more time today. It doesn't have to be the full 15 minutes guided meditation from this morning (but it can be). Take at least 5 minutes to mediate on your day and collect. This will help greatly with the final and most important step of the day, journaling.

If you have kids, maybe wait until after you’ve put them to bed to meditate again or if possible, encourage your kids to try to sit down for a short meditation with you.

Journaling

This is the MOST IMPORTANT part of today’s work. You could skip everything else on this list of activities and only do this and you see noticeable improvement in your root chakras sense of balance.

Right after you listen to your second mediation of the day, bust out your journal and write out answers and thoughts on these journal prompts. If you don’t have a notebook to write this in, you can print out the worksheets inside the daily workbook.

Directions: Print out the journaling pages of the daily workbook or if you have a journal, answer these prompts in your own journal.

Muladhara Prompts

  • Is there a part of yourself you are repressing or have repressed in an attempt to secure love + acceptance? Was there a time when the people around you made you feel as if parts of yourself were unlovable?

  • Think about a time you felt grounded? What made you feel grounded? Where were you and who were you with? How could you create this sense of groundedness within yourself?

  • Visualize a life where love, acceptance, safety, and security were guaranteed? Write down what appears in full detail.
