I wanted to start off by telling you a little bit about who I am.

Let’s dive In shall we?

My name’s Isabelle. I’m 16 years old.

Here are 11 facts about me!

  3. I drink WAY too much espresso and love to be a barista for my family

  11. I accidentally explode all of my baked goods (hey kids! Maybe you can relate)

(This is me⬆️⬆️⬆️)

You most likely know me from my mom and sister’s blog, Nomads With A Purpose. I’m usually the solo model you see in our pictures. It’s been my mom and sister’s dream to run a blog, not mine. They tried to recruit me for years too but I was pretty much un-teachable because I didn’t care about doing it! It wasn’t until this year though that I fell in love with entrepreneurship and I fell HARD. Like, as hard as Olaf fell for the idea of summer in Frozen…⛄️

I’m loving being an entrepreneur and I love that because I’m an entrepreneur, I can live a life on the road. If you don’t know, I’ve been living in a 30ft Rv for 5 years traveling the world with the rest of my family of 7.

  • I love that I am excited by the work I’m doing instead of being burnt out.
  • I love that I get to spend my work days searching for good wifi in coffeeshops.
  • I love that my work days are pit stops while were on the road.
  • I love that my days off are spent hiking mountain peaks in the Tetons or rock climbing in places that are miles away from any other people.
  • I love getting to do the things I love like snowboarding, backpacking, meditating, doing yoga, lake diving, and mountain biking all with my family.

I’m a huge fan of mindfulness. I’m probably its #1 fan, not to brag.

I started doing yoga from a young age and meditation has been a game changer in my self awareness this past year.

But mindfulness went beyond that for me.

While the yoga and meditation room is a space for me to practice mindfulness, everywhere I’ve traveled to has been a mindfulness space for me too.

Whether its on the trail, rock wall, bike path, beach, or on a mountain peak, I learned to be at one with my breath and pay attention to nature. I didn’t have the distraction of cities, social pressure from peers, or homework everyday. Instead I was so captivated by the life I was living I didn’t think about past regrets or future worries. I was present.

This is what led me to starting this course.

I hope this made you guys feel a little more comfortable with me and I’ll see you in our first lesson!

-Isabelle
